Measurements of Outcomes
The instructors of
The Drum Call program tests the participant's knowledge level at
the beginning of the program and then again in the middle and
finally at the end to measure the progress. Based on the past
five years of experience the instructors have found that 95% of
the participants raise their scores by 50% to 60%.
The instructors keep
a journal of attendance and materials covered throughout the
classes as documentation for the ending report.
In the case of the
series of classes, the class presentations serve as an
evaluation mechanism for the instructors to analyze the
retention of the material learned. The participants and their
families, as well as, programmers are encouraged to submit
testimonials regarding their experience with the program. This
serves as valuable insight into the participants' and
programmer's evaluation of the program. Testimonials aid the
instructors in making changes and evaluating what works with the
program. |
