Afrikan Drum Making Workshop

The Drum Call Drum Making Workshop is designed to promote self-esteem and cultural enrichment through the process of creating Afrikan drums.  The students will learn how to design drums along with learning the history of drumming and drum making.  Additionally, students will be exposed to some of the ancient rhythms associated with the drum, and drumming techniques.    The focus of this program is to boost students' self-esteem through process and completion.  A sense of accomplishment is attained as the students walk away from the program with a drum they have created from raw materials
